These terms govern your use of SumoMorph (the "Service") at sumomorph.com. By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
SumoMorph provides free, browser-based tools for converting and processing documents. All conversions run locally in your web browser; your files are not uploaded to or stored on our servers. The Service is provided for your personal and lawful business use.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use it to process content you do not have the right to use, that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, or that is illegal under applicable law. You must not attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
Because all processing happens on your own device, you retain full ownership of and responsibility for any files you convert. We claim no rights over your content and do not access, view, store or transmit it. You are solely responsible for keeping backups of your original files.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. While we work hard to make conversions reliable, we do not guarantee that any tool will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that output will meet your specific requirements. Always verify converted files before relying on them, and keep your originals.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SumoMorph and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or files, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
The desktop application is licensed, not sold, and is governed by the licence terms presented at purchase. A licence permits installation on the number of devices stated at purchase and includes the update period stated at purchase; the version you bought remains usable indefinitely. Refund terms are those shown at checkout.
The Service loads open-source conversion libraries from third-party content delivery networks. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites linked from the Service. SumoMorph carries no advertising.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page and the "last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
