Point it at a folder and walk away. SumoMorph Desktop does the work a browser categorically cannot: it converts thousands of files unattended, renders Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF with a real layout engine, OCRs scans into searchable PDFs across every core on your machine, and has no file size limit at all.
Like the web tools, it runs entirely on your computer. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and it keeps working with the network off.
It is not a PDF word processor. You cannot click a paragraph and retype it with the text reflowing, the way Acrobat does — that needs a full typesetting engine and is why Acrobat costs what it does per month. If you need to change the words, convert to Word, edit, and convert back; the app is built to make that round trip clean.
| Licence | Price | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Personal | $39 one-time | 3 activations, one year of updates, permanent use of what you bought |
| Business | $99 one-time | 5 seats, deployment installer, presets, priority email |
No subscription. If you stop paying for updates, the version you own keeps working.
The trial runs for 14 days with every feature enabled, no card required, and it never watermarks your output — watermarking someone's contract to make a point about licensing is not something we are willing to do.
SumoMorph Desktop is in development. Email [email protected] to be told when it ships.
